Here are some steps you can take to get started with the estate planning process, even before you meet with an attorney to work on any legal documents.
ANNOUNCEMENT RE: COVID19
In order to keep our families, friends and clients as safe as possible, I have decided to make the following temporary adjustments to my practice.
We ARE taking New Client Consultations. These consultations will be handled by phone, Zoom or Skype. Please reach out to Brenda at (513) 771-2444 x 119 or bdiefenbacher@cmrs-law.com to schedule.
At this point it time, we are still conducting in person signing meetings where a notary is required. While this policy may be subject to change in the coming days, we have implemented this policy to make sure that your important planning documents are completed. The signing meeting itself will be brief and only intended to sign the documents. We will arrange for a phone, Zoom or Skype call to answer ALL of your questions in advance of this meeting.
Most other documents and information can be transmitted and received electronically or by mail. We are well-versed in cloud-based technology including Dropbox and Google Drive. We can help you with these systems, too. Documents mailed to the firm will be scanned electronically.
Most local courts have released statements that many hearings will be scheduled. If your hearing is rescheduled, we will let you know.
Thank you for your patience, your commitment to keeping our friends and families safe. Thank you to Ohio leadership, all first responders across the State and nation, and everyone in public and private sector contributing to lessening the spread of Covid19.
Be safe and well.
