Throughout her career Ann has helped hundreds of clients find peace through planning – whether it be settlement planning, government benefit planning, special needs planning or elder law issues. She adeptly guides families and individuals on creating plans that minimize the complications of paying for cost of care while maximizing asset protection.
Ann was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from DePauw University (Indiana) with a Bachelor of Arts in English Composition. After graduation she attended Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, where she received her Juris Doctorate degree. She began her legal career in Los Angeles practicing civil litigation and quickly realized that she wanted to focus her career on helping others and problem solving. A move back to Cincinnati afforded the opportunity to work with a boutique law firm that focused on settlement planning and Medicaid issues. There she found a passion for assisting individuals preserve benefits while simultaneously meeting financial goals. Her expertise in navigating complex Medicaid and Social Security regulations sets her apart from the rest.
In 2015 Ann founded Anchor for Special Needs, Inc., a non-profit pooled special needs trust organization serving disabled individuals through the administration of trust funds and protection of government benefits. In her tenure as Board President she dedicated countless hours to the organization and welfare of its beneficiaries.
Ann enjoys traveling with her husband and three sons, running, volunteering in her community, and spending time with friends.
